The Jotunheimen jacket from Dale of Norway is a very innovative weatherproof cardigan and an addition to the trendy sports collection. The "Knitshell Technique" convinces all along the line! This is a 3-layer system. On the outside, the first layer is a highly water-repellent treated virgin wool (100% Norwegian virgin wool). From this the water rolls off like from a rain jacket. Even wet snow does not penetrate.
As a second layer a waterproof and breathable membrane (8.000mm water column 10.000mm breathability) is laminated from the inside onto the wool, which makes the jacket 100% wind- and waterproof (the seams are not glued, however, which means that it is not recommended for use in continuous rain &ndash\but it is also a winter jacket!). The third layer is a soft fleece lining inside which provides additional insulation.
The result is a perfect winter sports jacket e.g. for skiing and snowboarding but also just for the winter walk. The sporty knitted look is unique. On the slopes the predecessor was already the absolute eye-catcher.
Equipped with 2 outside and 2 inside pockets, numerous utensils and a ski pass can be safely stowed. Sleeve cuffs with thumb loops ensure that the sleeves do not slip up even during rapid descents. The hood is removable.
