The Jotunheimen ladies jacket from Dale of Norway is a very innovative, weatherproof cardigan and an addition to the trendy sports collection. The feminine cut makes a great figure and allows perfect freedom of movement during sports activities. The “Knitshell-Technique“ convinces all along the line! This is a 3-layer system. On the outside, the first layer is a highly water-repellent treated virgin wool (100% Norwegian virgin wool). From this the water rolls off like from a rain jacket. Even wet snow does not penetrate.
As a second layer, a waterproof and breathable membrane (8,000mm wateräule, 10,000mm breathability) is laminated onto the wool from the inside, making the jacket 100% windproof and waterproof (however, the naps are not glued, so it is not recommended to use it in continuous rain –but it is also a winter jacket!) The third layer is a soft fleece lining on the inside, which provides additional insulation.
The result is a perfect winter sports jacket e.g. for skiing and snowboarding, but also simply for a winter walk. The sporty knitted look is unique. On the slopes the predecessor was already the absolute eye-catcher.
Equipped with 2 outside and 2 inside pockets, numerous utensils and a ski pass can be safely stowed away. Ärmelbündchen with thumb loops make sure that the Ä;rmel do not slip up even during rapid descents. The hood is removable.
The mountain massif Jotunheimen in Norway, which houses the 29 highest peaks, gave the hood its name. Conclusion: The perfect jacket for everyone looking for a technically sophisticated winter jacket with a unique look! Bright colours combined with a great cut make the Jotunheimen a real eye-catcher!
Your Dale sweater is unique because it is shaped by the long experience of Dale of Norway and the traditional Scandinavian history. The detailed Norwegian sweaters are made with love and care. All work steps are carried out in the factory in the small village of Dale in the beautiful fjord landscape of Western Norway - and this has been the case since 1879. The result is a quality that is second to none.
In addition, great importance is attached to the use of environmentally friendly materials and processes as the Norwegians are closely linked to nature. The energy of the small factory comes from the surrounding waterfalls in the valley. The sweaters are made of 100% Norwegian wool or merino wool (see product info below) and only Ökotex 100 certified yarns are used. In spite of the traditional production, the company focuses on modern patterns and cuts and thus manages to give the classic Norwegian sweater a modern design.
It's no coincidence that genuine Norwegian sweaters are currently one of the biggest fashion trends. You get a great sweater from Norway that warms you and keeps its positive qualities for a lifetime.
